To prevent your staff, especially buyers, from being tempted to accept ‘gifts’ for favours, you may want to implement this basic policy.

POLICY GUIDELINES REGARDING RECEIPT OF GIFTS

This policy includes but is not limited to:

  • Presents of any nature
  • Cash or cheques or vouchers
  • Travel tickets and accommodation

All gifts received by any employee that exceed R50-00 must be disclosed and recorded by the Manager in the Gift Register. Failure to comply with this policy may lead to formal disciplinary action.
